Stories are not so much a series of things that happen as a series of ways in which things happen. Stories are the difference between truth and facts. A good book review is much like a good book in that way– not “here are the things the book does right or wrong” but rather “here are the ways in which the book does things”. Not “here is what the book is about” but rather “here is what reading the book is about”.
